How do you indicate to the software which club you are about to hit?

In driving range mode, you are able to select the club you are practising with. It seems in Home Tee Hero you cant.

You're right, you cannot. And it doesn't really matter because it does not affect the ball flight and you cannot go back and review shot data, anyway.

Thanks for getting back to me.

You have to wonder how the software calculates distances if it does not now which club you are hitting specifically the loft of the club you are using.

The loft of the club doesn't matter when calculating distance based on launch angle and ball speed (and the estimated spin rate/direction).

I still think this would be a great feature for shot metrics. I'd rather play HTH than use a driving range, and it would be nice to be able to pick which club I am hitting like the Garmin S60 watch allows. It's nice to look at things later and see how you hit different clubs in game situations.
