my approach R10 keeps disconnecting. The green light turns to white and won't record shots.

It worked fine the first time I used it, fresh out of the box. 4 days later I headed to the range and it didn't work. It kept disconnecting with the green flashing light changing to white, recording no shot data or tracer.

I received the product less than a week ago. I can't imagine it needs a software update unless one has been released in the last 4 days. What can it be?
