I have compared the metrics of my swing as reported by a professionally installed TrackMan system, against the R10, on two different occasions now.
The R10 is just plain wrong. It all seems to start with the swing path, it reads the swing path incorrectly and seems to extrapolate all the other data based on that incorrect reading, causing incorrect spin rates, and distance... anytime the swing path lines up with what the TrackMan reports, the metrics are much closer. But generally the margin of error is well outside what they are claiming,
I would not bet my game on this device, practising based on bad info is not practising, it's just reinforcing bad habits!
And forget about chipping less than 30'!
Garmin you need to fix this.
