Is 3.80 system software responsible for 6PP 6PN issue?

Is there a way to download an older version of the firmware into the unit?

I would love to hear from Garmin what is the time frame till the new version is gonna be released.

That makes four of us. Would also like to downgrade firmware to just be able to use my unit.

Unfortunately my hunch is this not a simple software fix or downgrade. Most likely Garmin qualified a new component or supplier for these 6PN & 6PP units that behaves differently than the old component/supplier. They are attempting to see if they can make a software change to make these new units work without doing a massive recall or replacement. Chip shortages and supply chain issues rearing their ugly head.
