R10 missing shots at the range

Same issue here, range detection is 30% or worse, no matter what you do. My indoor detection is 95% plus though .

Thanks for your reply. I haven't tried it indoors ¨(I don't have the space). But no matter what, it is still working really bad at the range. It is also very frustrating not having the ability to downgrade the firmware because it was detecting almost every shot before I updated it. Let's see if someone can help here :)

Same problem, but much worse. Current firmware. If I make good contact (high trajectory) the tracker doesn't pick up the shot at all. Maybe 1 out of 10. If It shank it (low trajectory) the R10 reads it.

I've done multiple tests and repeatedly checked positions and distance of the device and its environment and I keep getting the same issue. Any ideas why this is happening??

I have exactly the same issue! Has no issues picking up fat shots, but good contact and thin shots do not register. I bought the unit second hand and upgraded to 4.0 without testing the previous firmware version first, so not sure if it worked fine before or not.

Funny to see this, I use my r10 indoors 95% of time, the 5% I've used it outdoors at the range it has been almost unusable. Tons of missed and completely wrong reads.
