I see a couple other radar based systems doing this. They are using the reflective dots or the new fancy RCT balls to measure spin.
I didn't see a feature request for this, so here it is. This would increase the accuracy for INDOOR use.

Hello, I'd be happy to pass along this suggestion to our development team. If anyone else is interested in this feature possibly being added down the road, please hover over my name and send me a private…
Garmin-Rob Is it true Garmin is working on RCT ball compatibility to measure spin? Hearing rumors...
Sign me up for that feature. I would love that option for indoor sims.

I would love this too. Please and thanks.
This would be a great feature
Really need this to immediately remove all the spin algorithm guess work. Will improve shot shape representation. Coming from Mevo I know how well this works - really surprising that spin is not measured given how much spin affects so many aspects of the golf shot. Come on Garmin, you need to make this happen!
definitely a must to match other launch monitors! hopefully it happens
This is a great feature request and I would like this as well, I have an indoor simulator setup and would love for it to be as accurate as possible.
