Re Shorter distance issue

Hi Garmin Support team

I have been using Garmin R10 for about 3 weeks now, it seems all the shots I made was gauged about 15-20 meter short, the longer club I use, the bigger variation it has, I am playing with it outdoor at my back yard to the net. the distance hasn`t improved after upgrading to 3.70. I haven`t try 3.8 yet but guess it is not the issue.

can anyone help?

Seems to be a problem with mine as well. I changed the custom altitude to 10000 ft and it did get it closer to real distances

Are you using E6 or Garmin App? My buddy and I both purchased an R10 and for both of us it is opposite for E6, as E6 is at least a club long more often than not. Moving E6 to 0 ft altitude seems to improve it to only about a half club long. Garmin App however, I have been blown away with distance and shot shape reads matching feel perfectly. Only problem is no landscape mode. No landscape getting frustrating. Would love to use Garmin app for practice and E6 for some fun side play on the simulator.

How do you change the altitude?

Clicked on my icon and I went into settings and clicked on custom altitude from course altitude.

Am I right in thinking you can only do this for E6? I managed to do it for that but can’t see where I can do it for Garmin App.
