Swing Path

Guys I’m at my wits end. This product is defective imho if one of the things it says it does… it doesn’t do. The path is not accurate. I’ve tested it against TrackMan and I’ve also seen others do so on YouTube.

I’ve also heard people say they don’t care about it because “im not a coach or a pro so who cares blah blah blah.” That’s not the point right. We paid for a feature that doesn’t work and is off by 5 to 10 degrees and even reads left when your path is right.

does Garmin have a fix? Do I have a defective device and can I get a new one? Idk maybe I should sell it but I really want to love it. It doesn’t have to be as accurate as TrackMan but it needs to be as accurate as the documentation Garmin provides or it will end up a class action lawsuit.

  • I have the same issue. Path is always left when it’s actually right (as per trackman 4)

  • I did the same thing, on two separate occasions I compared the R10 against TrackMan. I saw the same behaviour, the R10 often reads the swing path incorrectly. We even reviewed the built-in camera footage from the TrackMan, and we have confirmed its reading correctly. I also noticed when the R10 does this, the spin rates are way off... resulting in poor distances. I think this is the root of the problems everyone is having.
