unpairing and pairing ipad pro to garmin approach r10 not working.

I am able to pair the approach to my ipad but then at the end of the connection it gives a screen saying "we're having problems talking to the garmin connect server. try again." try again does nothing. I have uninstalled the app and restarted ipad and garmin r10 twice. i have unpair and repaired but always get the same result/issue. please help. 

  • nvm, i called garmin support and they were very fast to answer and quick to help. Turns out i needed to install garmin express software on my mac, then plugin the garmin approach r10 and link it to the computer/software. Then I updated the garmin approach r10 software through that garmin express mac app and tried again. still failed the first re attempt but did it again and it worked!
