Home Tee Hero

Hi everyone,

does anyone have any issues with shot detection on the home tee hero. It’s 8.99 a month, which isn’t alot but for an app is a fair amount. Ive used it 3 times I think, it leaves me so frustrated that like tonight, I gave up on the fifth hole.

So I did some practice, I hit 50 balls on the range. It missed maybe two shots, maybe a couple more. I moved to Home Tee Hero, literally every hole it was missing shots, over five holes it recorded 32 shots (yes I know, still learning) but it easily missed 50 percent. On one shot I swung 5 times before it registered. No I know it’s not the device because on the range it was a lot tighter???

Anyone else noticed this? Am I doing something stupid?

I too am having this issue. Have to hit wake up on every shot, then by the time you shoot it doesn't register the shot. Took 20 shots to play a par 5. Strange thing is this does not happen using laptop and awesome golf. This leads me to believe it is an app issue. App is current version and just updated Garmin using Garmin express a couple of days ago. Using pixel phone. Any ideas????

Wake up issues was a problem in earlier versons of the app, but that should have been fixed now.

I still think that the unit has bluetooth issues, and if You have connected Your R10 to more than one unit, You will probably have issues if both are in range when playing.

Make sure Your bluetooth is turned off on the unit You're not using if this is the case.

If You do a practice swing before taking the actual shot, make sure the unit is ready (flashing green) before You take the shot.
