E6 on PC, Android phone, stuck on "sending shot data"

Hi all, played a round of 18 on e6 (PC) with a friend last night. I have a Samsung Note20 phone. About 6 times during the round, we'd go to hit and nothing would happen, I'd check the phone and it would say "sending shot data" in yellow at the bottom. I'd have to end session, then start backup "golf sim" -> "e6" and we could continue.

After a few times, I realized this seemed to be happening after we would adjust the map on e6 for a different line than the game suggested (like punching out back onto fairway rather than over the trees). I believe every time we moved the map this happened, but it did happen once or twice without moving the map also.

Anyone else having this? Does it happen on iOS?

I figure this is probably a Gamin issue (since that is the app that was having to be restarted) but I'll probably post on e6 forums also.

Just tried e6 on PC with using Garmin Android app and it misses shots very often in 24 holes (probably at least once per hole) and on the range. Once it happens closing the Android app and restarting usually works, but this is too often and it isn't a good experience with E6. I won't be subscribing until a fix is found. Please help, r10 with E6 is what my garage sim is built for.
