Garmin Golf App vs E6 distance differences?

I have been very happy with my R10 but am curious if there is difference in software/readings with Garmin Golf App vs E6 Connect. Garmin app is spot on for my numbers on range but when I use E6 on range (range vs course for a flat baseline) I am a full club to a club and a half longer than I actually am. Anyone else having this issue with E6 being long, if so any recommendations for settings for a fix?

Have you checked the elevation of the courses you are playing on E6? That seems to have an effect on shot length. The higher altitude you play at, the longer your shots.

Yes I am talking specifically across the driving range play. They do not show any advertised elevation when on driving range but that is where I am using it for comparison to garmin app is range to range. I did update to 3.7 yesterday and it was better coincidently. E6 numbers did come down but were still at least a half club long but better than it was.

Yes, you can change the elevation on all sessions and rounds in E6 Connect.

You can change elevation in main settings so it will automatically use a specified value every time you start a session or round.

E6 has a slightly different distance calculation even though all data us identical. I've created a Facebook post showing screenshots of them running side by side as proof/confirmation

i found e6 longer yes but closer to my range/course nhmbers that the garmin app
