Trouble connecting r10 to my Samsung android tablet a7

I'm having trouble connecting r10 to my android tablet. My android phone works fine with r10, but I need a bigger screen to play therefore hoping that I can connect it to my tablet. I've downloaded the garmin golf app and garmin connect app as I was told to from the app however I couldn't connect the app with R10. Just wouldn't work. Any solution? Thanks!

I had same problem. Easy fix. Delete app from tablet. Go to play store on phone click send apps. Then send app to tablet and install. It installs app that is on phone.

I'm not sure it's the same issue, but you can't connect the R10 to two iOS devices. I believe you need to disable bluetooth on one device before connecting to the other.

My Samsung tablet says it can't receive the App from the phone

You can not download garmin golf app to android tablets.

At least not from Google Play.

However You can side download the app from several sites that puts android apps for download.

Then You have to install it Yourself (easy, click on the apk file).

I use this site for downloading garmin golf app to my tablet, and since it works I have no issues recommending it:

I have done the back door app install. The issue I have been having is the tablet doesn't let me get to the weather and altitude to get things dead nuts dialed in. I know what my yardages are. I mainly use it at the range with the wife and have to use phone as hotspot for the tablet. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Why won't it let You enter weather and altitude settings?

Do You get an error message trying to enter the page?

(You need to tap on weather condition when You arrive at the page where weather condition and distance setting to the unit is displayed. That is a link to a new page, and not so intuitive).
