Incorrect distances

I have been using jy garmin r10 launch since the Initial release and my distances have never been correct. A minimum of 1-2 clubs off. I've tried both at the range and at home with the correct alignment. I've waited for every firmware update but unfortunately no joy. Seems such a shame as all the reviews state how amazing it is yet I'm extremely disappointed. Does anyone know if the apparent hardware issue is a real recall and if so how easy is it to get a replacment from garmin.

    I was having all the same problems. Distances were coming in way short for me when hitting into a net from the garage. I tried everything and still was unable to make it work.
     

    I went to garmin with the issue and was able to chat with one of their support team. They asked a bunch of questions which was expected but the whole thing was handled perfectly by garmin. I ended up sending in my unit and I got the new one last night. And it works. Nothing is different in my garage other than a new R10 unit but I am actually able to hit my 4 iron 220 yards with this thing. Hope this helps. And I can’t say enough good things about garmin and how they handled this with me. Good luck. 
     

    I'm having these issues as well.  I talked to Garmin support about it and they were extremely nice and helpful.  I DO have an early S/N unit from July he said.  I asked him if they changed anything from the earlier units and he said not that he's aware of.  He said he believes they've been fixing distance issues with a software fix.  He said they are planning on releasing a self calibration function on the Garmin app before the end of October.  He offered to replace my unit, but I suggested waiting until the calibration option gets released and seeing if that fixes it.  If not he added notes to my account for a replacement.

    Please update your device when you have the chance. We have released two software updates (one is rolling out today) to address and improve readings of the R10.
