There is any chance to use at home foam balls?
According to the Almost Ball advertisement, the ball should have the same take-off speeds, curves, etc. And only have 1/3 of the discrepancy outdoors without a network. It shouldn't make a difference indoors…
Hello to everybody, I did not receive yet the almost balls but I would like to ask to garmin if they migth update the firmware to be a kenwood to choose different balls like foam balls so this winter everybody…
cross the fingers ;-)
I will try, I will receive next week, no way to find them in italy
I have tested with Almost Golf Balls, and everything is good except distances. Because the ball is not leaving the club as fast as a standard ball, the distance is short which is understandable. If you just want to play, it's not bad, It's about 1/3 the distance in my limited experience.
According to the Almost Ball advertisement, the ball should have the same take-off speeds, curves, etc. And only have 1/3 of the discrepancy outdoors without a network. It shouldn't make a difference indoors. Since the ball flies here a maximum of 3m. This confuses me a little now.

I believe this would be hugely beneficial and a real differentiator over other launch monitors.
