I cannot get my R10 to pair or connect with the E6

I cannot get my R10 to pair or connect with the E6 app on my iPhone X, it pairs and connects just fine every time with the Garmin Golf App, what am I doing wrong, any suggestions?

same issue. even appears to work fine in the main menu. get to the courses or the sim - nada

I found that you need to connect the r10 with the garmin golf app first and then select e6 through the garmin golf app.
