Menu tab obscures club, sound selection, etc in Garmin Golf app when using R10

This seems like this issues has been getting worse and now there is no option to set the club, sound when hit, record, etc. Even when editing the driving range function the overlay is permanently there and cannot be swiped away.

Per the screenshot, the swipe up me up bar that contents the "session stats" and "how to align" takes up the bottom of the screen. It cannot be "X'ed" away or anything. Any help here?

*edit. I'm on a Pixel 5 running Android 12 beta if that means anything.

I have discovered that changing the input mode from side swipe in to back (android users will know what I mean) to the traditional (back, menu, and app view) input mode, this problem goes away. Obviously this is a bandaid as most users probably use the swipe in from side for their phone.
