Garmin Approach R10

Can Samsung Tab S7 connect to R10? Also, if I have downloaded Garmin Golf App on both Samsung 10 and Samsung S9+, I can only use 1 phone with R10 at a time, right?

  • Folks have been reporting issues with the Garmin Golf app with Android tablets.  The app is available, but may be an older version that doesn’t support the R10.  As for multiple device, they can all be paired, but only one can be connected at a time.  I have the R10 paired with my Android phone, iPad and an iPhone.  But can only connect to the R10 with one device.  Having the other devices paired makes it easy to switch when at home versus the range.

  • Thank you. It is helpful. I tried once to add a new device but unable to get it paired. Will try again.

  • I also have a Samsung S7 Tablet and I am also very disappointed why gamin refuse to use capabilities of an big screen. I will wait until the development delivers a Android tablet update.  Hope which enough requests garmin reconize that they may lose potentially customers.

  • The R10 is not supported on Android Tablets. Despite what lies Garmin marketing is telling everyone.

Hello, please refer to the support article linked below that discusses the requirement of the app being installed to Android phones. Android tablets are not referenced.

As stated on another thread, we have a ticket open in the hopes the app can eventually be optimized for Android tablets.
