Just got my R10, upgraded it to 3.30 and started using it. What a disappointment, all shots are 15-25 yards off! Come on Garmin, you can do better than this!!!

I've had it for a little over 3 weeks and I 100% agree. I've taken it on the range, the course, and also my "outdoor" patio that was made for this... 15-20 yards depending on any club except for chip…
I purchased the garmin R10 golf launch monitor and I saw that you answered some of the posts regarding distances being off. I am having the same issue. It seems accurate with wedges up to a pitching wedge…
I've had it for a little over 3 weeks and I 100% agree. I've taken it on the range, the course, and also my "outdoor" patio that was made for this... 15-20 yards depending on any club except for chip shots. Even worse on a driver.
Took it to the course yesterday... Drives averaged 280 but on the r10 225-235 with numerous bottom outs and slices- a few were a hair right but still less than 10ft from fairway. Irons were so off that after 8 holes i stopped using the r10. I also want to state that i have a Garmin golf watch that i use and LOVE because of its accuracy so i KNOW what the yardage is on my normal course and i KNOW what my clubs are.
Just one of many examples:
143 in, hit my normal PW (average 140 carry)... Put it less than 10ft to the hole but the r10 states 123yds total.
168 in, hit my normal 8 (average 165+/- w/roll)... Put it less than 15ft to the hole but r10 states 146yds total.
I could go on and on... Some 50% swings with a 54 might go 60 yards but a pure 90% 54 will go 80.
At this point the r10 is subpar from what i expected... It's still fun with buddies but after a while even those buddies get aggravated with nonsense shots of you are playing courses
I was hyped after seeing the review/YouTube videos at the first of July but after using the hardware... It was all product payment. I ordered mine July 8th, got it weeks ago, and ill end up getting rid of it because it's too finicky.
By the way... Newest firmware.. plus another con is that you can't upgrade the hardware except plugging into a pc - at least on Android.
Good luck on getting it to work and make your game better as i just don't think it does the job it's made to do.
I purchased the garmin R10 golf launch monitor and I saw that you answered some of the posts regarding distances being off. I am having the same issue. It seems accurate with wedges up to a pitching wedge, but from then on the distances are very short. I am using a net outdoors, have checked the distances between net and the ball, (8 feet), and 6 feet from ball to R10. I used a level to make sure the R10 was level with the ball and also level horizontally. I got alignement accurate but seem to still be having short distances. I have tried in three different locations in my back yard area which is quite large. any tips or advice would be appreciated. I think this is a great product, but if the distances are off by as much as they are it kinda makes it pointless. I would say the irons are 20yards off, or 1-2 clubs short and I cant get any distance at all with driver. My average driver distance according to Arccos is 230 metres, but I cant seem to get a reading bust 150m.
thanks
