I am having issues with my Garmin R10. For my chip shots, pitch shots, and 1/2 swing shots, it will read them and give good readings. However, when I take a full swing shot, the device will not register the swing and output any data. I have a slow backswing and a slight pause at the top which makes it so there is approx. 2 seconds between beginning of the swing and contact with the ball.
I set up the device outside at a driving range with no objects or people nearby. The device was on a flat surface and level with the ball. I did all the troubleshooting and I still could not get a reading with my full swing shots. To test, I sped up my swing and did a few full swing shots and the device captured each one. Does anyone know if there is a way that I can get readings with my normal tempo, full swing shots?
