Level the unit

FYI my unit was always reading ball flight going right. After reading another users post I checked the level of the floor where it was setting. It was off slightly. I shimmed the right side of the  mat to get it dead level not front to back but side to side. The direction problem was corrected and it seem to help the launch some. I think Garmin needs to attach a bubble level to the top of the unit like Skytrac that way even on the range you can get it level.

  • I completely understand about being level and I have made a base using HDPE plastic and 3 furniture threaded adjustable levelers which were inexpensive.  Then, before placing my Garmin unit on it, I set my iPhone on it with the compass app which has a crosshair in the center to level the base perfectly.  To me this is a little easier and more accurate than a bubble level.  I would also like to see Garmin modify their base to include  threaded levelers on each leg along with a level at the top.  That would eliminate the need for using shims.

  • Threaded levellers on each leg would make sense
