Clubhead path and AOA accuracy

Hi guys the following accuracy tolerances around clubhead data were posted a while ago by playbetter.com .. are the path and AOA +/- advised Garmin numbers? (i can’t see them on your site) and can we expect to see that sort of accuracy on the existing hardware over time with firmware updates?
Club path (+/- 2 degrees)
Angle of attack (+/- 1 degree)

  • Thanks Rob for the responses to date. I would appreciate if this could be verified with your engineers and tolerances confirmed. In my case, I am still awaiting delivery of an R10 pre-order that was based on information published by Playbetter. While there are clearly some (expected) algorithmic tweaks ahead being a new product, my confidence was/is built on the Garmin brand and the what I understood to be the capability of the hardware and measured tolerances around path and AOA. These must, I would have thought, be measured given the unit doesn’t need club entry - but it would be timely to restate explicitly including accuracy pls. I have just purchased a projector, impact screen and am setting up a sim bay in anticipation of my R10 :) looking forward to your clarification. Thanks in anticipation!

  • Since the unit does not require membership in a special club, it appears reasonable to presume that it can be measured, but it may be prudent to repeat the argument with precision for clarity. I bought a projector, impact screen, and sim bay for my R10. Your explanation excites me. duotrigordle
