Disturbance due to electrical devices

I would love the answer to this question.

I was hitting in garage and it was extremely hot and found the flashing Green light would change to red constantly while I had a fan running behind me... so I think the answer is yes.

Would like to know if other things like box freezer/refrigerator can interfere as they have fans....

My R10 was constantly flashing red. I tried moving it but nothing helped. I then moved my floor fan behind the R10 and boom everything worked. So if your fan is in front it will cause disturbance. 

is your fan metal or plastic how strong is the wind ?

In my case my fan is plastic, it's one of those 3' tall floor standing white plastic oscillating fans.

oh that's what I should be doing... great idea, I'll ask everyone at the driving range to turn off their bluetooth, wifi, and cell data so I can get the Garmin R10 to work

Does sound, like through an alexa device effect it? I did testing with a fan and got it to work without turning red so I'm guessing that means it's okay

I have a modine natural gas hanging heater in corner of my garage to the corner of my net. When heater turns on the r10 will not work, light goes to red instant. it’s not even blowing on the garmin (probably 15-20 feet away).  I get a notification that there is an interference with the r10. Annoying, because garages get cold in Iowa winters.

Same thing with me, I have a large 48' by 40' heated pole building and the Garmin does not work when the heat is running.  Have you or any others found a way to get by this?  I tried building a little temporary wall next to the garmin to try to block line of sight but that did not help.  Thinking about building a barrio up by the heater but not sure that will work either, heater is probably 25' away and off to the side of the garmin.  I am going to try and move the garmin so the heater is behind it to see if that will do it, will let you know.  Not idea positioning for me but can make it work if I can run the heat, as I am also in Iowa.
