iPad/Tablet native app?

Hi.

With the R10 coming and Home Tee Hero being a massive feature, is the Garmin Golf app going to update to be iPad/Tablet native? (and just not the phone app enlarged)

It would be great to have access to a native bigger screen in landscape mode for Home Tee Hero etc

Hello! This is something I would like to pass along to our development team to review. From the testing I have witnessed, it appears the app isn't native when used on a larger tablet and the image comes…

Created an account just say this feature should be #1 on top of added features, if not just a landscape Casting option.

The other important thing will be for home tee hero to work in landscape mode so that it can be mirrored to a projector.

need to be ab le to use the golf app on my Samsung chromebook. Unable to update the app like on my phone. This needs to be fixed.

1000% correct, fix landscape mode please! Portrait mode looks so small and silly on a giant impact screen.

I can’t figure out how to dm you but please I plus 1 the notion. Portrait mode looks so silly on an impact screen when air playing or casting through a projector or Apple TV.

Also being able to sync to multiple devices would be helpful too since I use an iPad for Apple TV airplay screen mirroring and use my phone in my pocket to look at my stats so I don’t have to walk over to the iPad every time. But landscape mode is far more important of an issue

Not an easy task on a phone, so suggest using the a desktop computer. Basically, just hover the mouse over Rob's name (don't click on his name) then select "Send a private message."

Yes, please make landscape work for simulator projection. Excellent product and excellent app but that would take it to another level. This is best bang for the buck I have seen for launch monitor/sim. Great work Garmin!

Definitely need to make the iPad app landscape. Center the portrait mode graphic for shot shape and allow users to customize “data fields” along the left and right side.

I"m surprised it's not already a feature, even if just a scaled up version of the phone app. I got my R10 a few days ago and after one round on the phone realized that it would be much easier to see on my Galaxy Tab. Tried to install the software and link to the radar but no go... Fortunately this is a product in the very early stages and I can only hope there's already an engineer or two at Garmin working on this.
