Deleting a tracked shot does not remove the max distance

I have an incorrectly recorded max distance (user error) - when I deleted the tracked shot, the max distance has remained in club stats. 

What mechanism is available to remove this as I don't want this listed. As well as showing me how to fix, can someone confirm why deleting this does not correct the data?

    If the distance may have accumulated from one hole to another while the device was not transitioned from the previous or to the next. 

    I recommend excluding the scorecard from performance stats or check to see if the hole previous or after the hole you edited has shot data that was affected from the distance that was recorded and edited for that max distance shot. 

    Otherwise if excluding the scorecard does not correct the max distance, there may be another scorecard affecting the distance, since you are still seeing attributed to the max. 

    For more hands on assistance, I recommend contacting Garmin Support so a golf specialist can confirm your account info and view the data with you to determine what else is attributing to the max you are seeing.
