G80 Green Contours Won’t Show Up

I have a brand new G80. It has been updated on Garmin Express, connected to the latest Garmin Golf app on my iphone 15 Pro and synced. I am subscribed. The app and the device have been deleted, cleared and reloaded but still no contours on the device.

Problem is that although green contours are present in the app, they are not present on the device, after over an hour of chats and telephone guidance, the best advice I received was to try it on the actual course and see whether it works then.

Any ideas?

    update.  I was onnthe course yesterday and still cannot get contours to show up on my G80 even though they show fine on th app.

    Ensure the steps as outlined below are being followed to use Green Contours on your G80: 

    1. Ensure the Garmin Golf app open on your phone with your G80 showing connected and synced within the app.
    2. On your G80, select "Start New Round" from the home screen. 
    3. Select a course compatible with green contours from the list of nearby options displayed after locating satellites. 
    4. After selecting the course, and the tee box...the G80 will display an alert showing "Green Contour data available. Open the Garmin Golf app to download". > Tap OK. 
    5. Maintain the Garmin Golf app open on the screen of your smartphone and once the app has finished loading the contour data to the device, a prompt will appear on the G80 showing "Reloading course" and the screen will show "New Course Map Downloaded with Green Contours"  > Tap "Got it!". 
    6. You then may  have to re-confirm the tee box once again. 
    7. Then Tap the Green icon in the lower right corner of the display on the G80 and you will see the green view with the contour information displayed for each hole.

    *Note: Ensure that you maintain a connection to the Garmin Golf app throughout the round to ensure the contour data continues to display for the full duration of the round until you are finished golfing.
