Just bought a G80 and the fact that it’s missing several key features from the old Garmin golf GPS’s is a joke. 1, I can’t assign any distances to clubs (and how easy would that be with the new integrated launch monitor?). 2, the old units had a personalized caddy feature that would recommend clubs based on the data that you logged about them for the distance to the hole your playing. WHY WOULD YOUR LATEST AND GREATEST UNIT NOT INCLUDE THESE? To make a newer model of anything that’s missing useful features from a previous model is a absolutely asinine. Garmin, you really missed the mark with the G80. There is definitely not $500 worth of value in this device.
