Watch-app, development mode. Fitcontributions are not displayed in Connect App

Hello.

Create watch-app for custom activity recording.

Created custom fitcontributor fields with "displayInActivitySummary" and "displayInChart".

Compile and copy the .prg file to the device "Internal Storage/GARMIN/Apps" folder.

After the session is recorded on the device it is successfully synced with Connect on mobile.

The issue is that my custom fitcontributor fileds are completely not displayed in the activity details.

What could be the problem?

The issue is that you are side-loading the app. For the CIQ stuffs to appear in Garmin connect, it has to be uploaded to Garmin and then Garmin will use the manifest within the app that you uploaded to…

The issue is that you are side-loading the app. For the CIQ stuffs to appear in Garmin connect, it has to be uploaded to Garmin and then Garmin will use the manifest within the app that you uploaded to configure the charts and what not. Suggest you go into the CIQ developer's forum instead of here.

Adding to what @Nikeow said, you can use Monkey Graph to test FIT Contributions during development. Monkey Graph uses the both the .prg and the .fit files to display data in a similar way that Connect would.

Nikeow Ben FIT Thanks for the responses. Really appreciate it! I see in logs that everything works but it's just not displayed... Probably will go to web service better.
