Hello everyone,
I am looking to extract speed values from a FIT file with 1 second recording turned on, and noticed there is both record speed and GPS Metadataspeed.
The record speed looks erratic, and is constantly overshooting and undershooting by 2 kmhr evern 2 seconds the GPS Metadata readout, which looks like a more realistic ( or possibly smoothed, I'm not sure ) speed trace.
Speed was recorded on the water with 100% view of sky.
Can anyone confirm properties of either? Here is a sample of the two plots, with GPS MEtadata the stable readout, and the erratic readout is the Record, which I suspect has altitude or accelerometer input by the looks of it?
