SDK support for Edge 1030 - collect and display metrics in real time during activity is in progress

I would like to connect to Edge 1030 during some activity is in progress (actually when I am training on my TACX), collect the data in real time during the activity (such as HR, power, cadence etc) and display that on monitor (I was thinking to develop some simple webapp that can display the data while I in a training)

Does the SDK support that capability or only pulling files once the activity is completed ?

Will that work with Edge 1030 ?

Are there any examples how to connect to the device while an activity is in progress and pull the data ?

The FIT SDK is for reading and writing FIT files. It is not used for connecting to sensors. Take a look at the ANT+ or Bluetooth protocols for each sensor. Those are what all of the indoor cycling platforms use to get real-time data.
