Explore app courses - Course Point messages with type value 26?

Hi, I was digging around in Course FIT files created by the Garmin Explore mobile app and synced to a GPSMAP 67.

The points that are used to create a Course in the Explore app end up as Course Points messages in the FIT course file. The first and last Course Point messages have a type of value of 0 ('generic'), but the other Course Point messages have a type value of 26. This value is not listed in the course_point enum in FIT SDK Profile Excel. What does value 26 mean?

26 is a shaping point which is used to force the course along a specific path. It is not a POI, it is more about routing along path B instead of Path A.

Thanks for the explanation. I guess it's up to the device then how to handle these shaping points in combination with the record messages that make up the course?
