Amend Calendar.FIT file to remove stuck entry

Hi All, hope someone can assist to save me having to reset my watch (Fenix 7SS) and lose HRV data etc...

I have a rouge "Event" in my calendar which matches the same detail as a half marathon that I need to be in my calendar. It is only showing in the watch and not in Garmin connect so it is stuck there - I have 2 entries in Connect but 3 on watch. Garmin support advice is to reset the watch but I'd rather not as even with the back-up/restore option, I understand it will delete my HRV status etc.

I came across the FIT SDK and using the FITCSV Tool was able to extract the Calendar.FIT file from the watch to CSV file and view the 3 entries, therefore looking like I can delete the rouge entry but I cannot work out how to convert back to FIT to upload back to watch (will keep back-up of original in case). The FIT convertor apps I have found create multiple files not 1 and I presume this is different to uploading a CSV/FIT Activity file.

Any suggestions?

Have you tried posting your question to the fēnix 7 forum? That forum is a moderated and someone there might be able to help you reset the calendar on your device without manually manipulating the calendar files on the device.

Thanks Ben, I have seen others have posted similar across other devices so isn't just Fenix 7 specific but there doesn't seem to be a fix other than a reset - this is also what Garmin Support suggested I did.

I decided to just reset the watch anyway, most settings are restored via the back-up option so no major drama
