Hat irgendjemand Neuigkeiten bzgl. des Problems dass mit dem neuen SmartphoneLink fuer iPhone keine Blutooth Verbindung zw. dem 3590 LMT und dem IPhone derzeit moeglich ist?

Habe alle Updates zu meinem 3590 LMT auf dem allerneuesten Stand sowie heute noch einmal die Smartlink App auf mein iPhone 4 geladen und installiert....absolute Fehlanzeige!

Das ist kein Problem, sondern scheint von Garmin so vorgesehen zu sein. Laut Beschreibung der App für's iPhone ist das 3590 nicht kompatibel, sondern nur die kommende Generation der Garmin-Geräte (XXX7) ;). Dafür habe ich ein anderes Problem, seit iOS 6.1.3 verbindet sich das 3590 nicht einmal mehr als Handsfree mit dem iPhone (sowohl 3GS als auch 5 sind davon betroffen).

Danke fuer die Antwort aber.....laut nachstehender Info ist die Anbindung iphone zu 3590lmt auch fuer die 2012 Modelle moeglich.....allmaehlich verstehe ich wirklich nur noch Bahnhof!!!

Great News! iOS device users who also have a bluetooth-enabled Nuvi, from the Garmin 2012 or 2013 lines, will now be able to connect with the Smartphone Link app. Previously only available to Android smartphones, Apple fans will now have access to Live Services; Advanced Weather, Live Traffic, Safety Camera locations and the Dynamic Parking feature.

Data shared between the phone and GPS is tied to the user's mobile data plan. For more information on what your current mobile plan offers, please contact your service provider. Roaming rates and data overage costs may apply.

The initial app download is free, but subscriptions are necessary access many of the Live Services; Advanced Weather - $4.99, Live Traffic - $19.99 and photoLive -$4.99. There are some free features that come included, basic weather is one. It has many of the same features as the Advanced Weather, except animated radar images and severe weather alerts.

Pedestrian-friendly menu option, Last Mile, navigates foot travel to or from the last known GPS position. If you've parked your car at the mall, the phone will help you find it again when you decide to leave.

Another handy feature is Dynamic Parking (free in North America only), will guide you to parking near your destination. It will also provide the time restrictions for each parking location, as well as any costs involved.

An interactive addition to Smartphone Link is photoLive. It is comprised of live images from over 10,000 traffic cameras displaying current traffic and weather conditions. This works well with the Live Traffic feed, which updates every 2 minutes providing detours around congestion, construction or accidents along the route." Das ist interessant, weil Dein Zitat der Beschreibung im App-Store widerspricht. Dort werden explizite nur die Geräte mit der Endnummer 7 als kompatibel gelistet (die hier noch nicht erhältlich sind). Aber vielleicht plant GARMIN ja auch ein Update für das 3590.

Dann ist Garmin inzwischen eine FW-Version weiter. Werde ich heute mal laden und ausprobieren. Danke für die Info.

Auch mit der neuen FW 7.9 das gleiche Problem. Das 3590 und das iPhone 5 koppeln sich erst gar nicht. Fehlermeldung vom iPhone: Das Gerät, also das Garmin, wird nicht unterstützt. Interessant, das 3590 listet das iPhone - anders als bei FW 7.8 - nach dem Versuch der Kopplung zwar auf, kann sich aber nicht verbinden. Selbst der Neustart beider Geräte bringt nix. Langsam nervt's mit dem 3590, mit dem ich eigentlich lange Zeit recht zufrieden war.
