Direction indication on Edge 800

Hi Garmin Forum

I have just re started using my Edge 800 after a break of several years (health reasons).

If I remember rightly, the device used to give me really helpful directions turn-by-turn with the map orientated in the direction I was heading - rather like current car satnavs.

I cant seem to get it to do that now.

Please remind me how to get this great feature working again?

Thank you for that advice Stefan Although I had somehow got onto the German language forum, I managed to follow your instructions and I think it worked. I will test it out soon outside

You have to set "Turn Guidance" to 'On' using the 'wrench' after you have selected the Course you intend to ride, and before you press "Go". On the Edge 800 this has to be done for each course separately. Be sure to have a GPS fix before doing this and wait till the calculation of the TBT overlay has finished 100% before starting to ride.
