how do i connect heart rate from my fenix 6 pro to be the heart rate for my 1030?

i have the fenix 6 pro when i search sensors on my garmin 1030 i do not see the watch how do i enable the ant + to pull the felix heart rate to the 1030

Press the Light Button on the Fenix.

Select the Heart Icon.

Then search on the 1030 for a Heartrate Sensor.

I tried several times to connect a Forerunner 235 to Edge 1030.

When ANT+ signal was found by Edge, heartrate was displayed only for a few seconds. My Forerunner was in stand-by mode at this time.

Final and working conclusion...

1,) connect heartrate device (sensor) to Edge, (let Edge search for sensors)

2,)when connected

3.) activate an exersice at your heartrate device ( either running or cycling)

heartrate will be displayed as long as exersice is active...

So far my experiences with a Forerunner 235.....
