GPS Update kommt immer wieder

Seit einer Woche kommt beim Benutzen der GPS Funktion die Meldung „F. GPS Neustart erf. Jetzt neu starten?“ danach startet die Uhr neu, installiert ein Update, meldet erfolgreiche Installation. Danach kommt die selbe Meldung wieder und wieder und wieder… Inzwischen habe ich die Uhr zurückgesetzt, Updates per Garmin Express, probiert. Immer wieder das selbe Spiel, GPS funktioniert nicht… ich denke das Problem ist das Update, die Datei gpu4179.gcd. Wenn ich die Datei lösche, ist zumindest mal der „Drang“ nach dem Update weg, aber das GPS funktioniert nicht. Sobald ich irgendwie Update, ist die Datei gpu4197.gcd wieder da, meldet alles installiert, alles gut. Aber sobald GPS verwendet wird, fängt das Spiel wieder von vorne an. Hab inzwischen versucht mit „Beta“ eine andere Version des Updates zu bekommen. Die Software ist nun statt 12.10 12.53 aber das GPS Update dürfte immer noch das selbe sein, komm daa irgendwie nicht drüber.

Hat jemand einen Tipp für mich wie man das lösen kann?

Ich habe seit heute genau das gleiche Problem, mit genau gup4197.gcd

Ich habe einen Hard-Reset und ein Update über das Windows-Tool versucht, aber es funktioniert nicht.

Jeder Rat ist willkommen

(English as i am non-german, and think this might help)

After a full reset and several rounds of updating, i left the device outside (=better GPS) for 15-30 minutes while starting an activity. I got my device on a version 5.30(!) with CPE: missing. After leaving it outside, it changed to CPE: current.and it was working, although it still took some time to get GPS lock and it also tend to loose it regularly.

Whenever i would update it then (via Express), it would make the GPS version 0.00 and CPE:missing again, after which i needed to reset it.

I reached out to Garmin support and they advised me to do the 3 button reset:
1) power device down
2) start up device (using top left light button) while holding the 2 right buttons)
3) when hearing the first beep, release the top right button
4) when hearing the second beep, release the bottom right button.

This brought me back to a 5.30(!) version. However, when i then did the Garmin express update, it only wanted to install "Personal records" from Express. Via file explorer i also saw the gup4197 file. After disconnecting and rebooting the device, it now shows gps version 6.60. It is now getting gps lock, but unstable near houses. Need to do a more thorough check in the field, but at least it is working again.

I tried now: the reset doesnt change anything for me: Software 12.53, GPS 0.00, CPE: missing (fehlt).

Starting a GPS Track: "F. GPS Neustart erf. Jetzt neu starten?", then it is installing the update, says "installed" but then allways want to update the GPS again and agiain and again...
