It would be a good function to be able to broadcast heart rate from Vivoactive 3 music to ones bike GPS (in my case Edge Explore) whilst still having watch functionality.
If you enter the Vivoactibe HR broadcast mode you are stuck on the HR screen until you stop the broadcast.
There is a work around
- in HR setting turn on "broadcast in activity"
- then start an activity on your phone like indoor bicycle (this will not use GPS)
- you now have a low energy way to broadcast an activity and still keep some watch functionality.
- remember to delete the bogus watch activity or it will upload into Garmin connect
Hopefully Garmin upgrade the watch and bike gadget connectivity.
