Out in the desert I noticed the location arrow in Garmin Explore pointed the wrong direction - by as much as 180 degrees. I know that large iron deposits can render compass readings off, but these devices are supposed to operate by satellite. I find this destressing as I rely on this app to keep me out of dangerous situations. Does anyone have a solution to this problem?
