Hello Garmin Community and Support Team,
I would like to submit a feature request regarding the group management settings in Garmin Connect. Currently, group administrators lack the option to restrict or block users from adding manual posts or entries to the group feed. In larger groups, every manual post generates a high volume of push notifications for all participants. Unfortunately, this constant flow of notifications is becoming very disruptive, causing many active members to leave the groups entirely.
Since all tracked activities are already synchronized and displayed automatically, manual entries are often redundant and clutter the feed.
It would be a fantastic improvement if group administrators were given a setting to disable manual posting, allowing the feed to only show automated activity uploads. This simple feature would greatly improve user experience, reduce group abandonment, and help us maintain a clean, distraction-free environment for our members.
