Corrupted Garmin fit file

Hi,

I ran 9.32mi yesterday. My vivoactive 3 has the record but it didn't sync to my phone. I found the fit file and import it via Garmin Connect Web, but it said " We don't support the file type you tried to import." Can someone please help me to fix the file?

Sync your watch then remove all activity fit files from the device using these directions - Removing Recorded Activities on a Garmin Fitness Device
Regularly check for firmware updates using Garmin Express
