Hallo,

wie kann ich in Basecamp die auf GARMIN Oregon 600 geladenen Geocaches anzeigen lassen. Diese befinden sich auf dem Gerät im Format .GGZ (I:\GARMIN\GGZ).

Besten Dank für Tipps.

Unfortunately, BaseCamp does not support the GGZ file type. BUT....

A GGZ file is a compressed group of files, that can be extracted with 7zip (and probably winzip). Copy your GGZ file to a unique folder on your PC (Like D:\temp\GC). Then unzip the GGZ file. You will get 2 folder structures.

The first is D:\temp\GC\index\com\garmin\geocaches\v0 and contains file index.xml. This appears to be an index of the GPX files.

The second is D:\Temp\GC\data. This contains one or more GPX files - likely depending on the number of caches. You can open these in BaseCamp.

    Good luck,

    Joe
