Why do I not see a way to change my profile name and photo on the Garmin messenger app?

Hello Chilean_Adventures Due to how accounts are tied together within our Garmin system the only place you can update the icon or name for this would be by going to connect.garmin.com and signing in there…

For step number 1 the correct URL is Connect.Garmin.com.

Hello Chilean_Adventures Due to how accounts are tied together within our Garmin system the only place you can update the icon or name for this would be by going to connect.garmin.com and signing in there to edit them. Once you edit them you will see the changes made then in the messenger app.

Same issue here, but I don’t see a way to set a profile picture on Garmin.com, can you point to the steps? Thank you

Login into your garmin.connect.com account
tab on the profile photo dummy
show profile
edit profile
change profile photo

Thanks so much for this.. it had me stumped for a year! It's crazy that you have go into connect to change the name displayed in Garmin Messenger app!!!
