Garmin Messenger e2e encryption

Since we have lot of untrusted chat messengers whose are not using e2e like Facebook I would like to ask how are messages transported and stored, especially if Garmin Messenger used any e2e encryption like a Signal, Telegram etc ;)

Because I was not able to find this information publicly.

    we are just testing to send pgp encrypted text via messenger plus. This is complicated and not really for every day use. Reason same: we did not find out any notes on encryption etc.
