Issue with Country Code Selection in Garmin Messenger Android App

After installing the app, I proceeded to the sign-in stage where it required my phone number. However, I faced an issue with the country code selection. The app presents a list of country codes to choose from, but I noticed that the China country code (+86) is not included. This omission prevents me from completing the sign-in process and effectively using the app.

Interestingly, I found that the Apple version of the app does not have this issue and includes the China country code.

    We investigated this issue. We have confirmed that at this time the Messenger app is not able to be linked to Chinese phone numbers. Currently, China is one of a few countries that may regulate or prohibit the use of satellite communications devices. More information about these limitations can be found in the link below.
