During the round you can tap the "action" key on the upper right side of the watch to open up the round menu > Select Scorecard from the menu list > Then scroll to the hole you would like to correct to adjust the Score and Stat Tracking (putts, fairway, penalties) > Once you have correct the hole, tap the "back" key on the lower right side of the watch to return to the screen providing distance information.

The watch uses your proximity to the furthest tee box back to determine your hole location at the course. Depending on the course layout, if hole 1 and hole 10 are near to each other when starting the round, the watch may detect a closer proximity to the tips on another hole close-by.
You mentioned the course you were playing has 9-holes, and the watch may have two course options that display after locating satellites to allow users to play 1-9 or 1-18 to complete a full round from 9 > back to hole 1...which will be displayed as hole 10 if playing a 18 holes, instead of 9.

When selecting the 9-hole course, you may see a prompt on the screen of your watch to confirm if you are playing 9-holes, or 18-holes so ensure that option is selected accurately for the amount you are playing that round.
I recommend selecting the Golf activity and locating satellites when located on the tee box at the start of your round. If you start the round on the watch when at the parking lot, club house, driving range, or practice greens...the watch will be in GPS mode during that stagnant time until you actually go to first hole to tee off...this can cause the watch to potentially pick up a nearer hole...or it may have a little satellite drift if you are in one location for a few minutes or more before playing.
You can change the satellite settings available on the S70 for the Golf app on the watch. Starting from the regular time screen, tap the middle button on the side of the watch to open the quick access settings menu > Select the "Settings" box > Then tap the "Golf Settings" option on-screen > On the next screen, scroll down to the "Satellites" section, and you can increase the access to satellites for the S70 by selecting the "All + Multi-Band" option to allow more satellite signal access during your golf round. The "All + Multi-Band" setting may help keep a more consistent signal at the course.
