- Garmin S62 couldn't calculate the scorer correctly and was late closing the game scorer in the previous hall. How to fix it ?
During the round you can tap the "action" key on the upper right side of the watch to open up the round menu > Select Scorecard from the menu list > Then scroll to the hole you would like to correct to adjust the Score and Stat Tracking (putts, fairway, penalties) > Once you have correct the hole, tap the "back" key on the lower right side of the watch to return to the screen providing distance information.
After the round, you can edit the score, stat tracking, and shot data recorded from the round per the instructions outlined in the Garmin Support pages linked below:
I'm new with the S70.
My local corse is 9-holes.
The S70 started me on the 10th hole, and progressed from there.
What can I do so that it starts at the 1st hole (which is the 10th if you go around 2x)?
Thank you
Peter
The watch uses your proximity to the furthest tee box back to determine your hole location at the course. Depending on the course layout, if hole 1 and hole 10 are near to each other when starting the round, the watch may detect a closer proximity to the tips on another hole close-by.
You mentioned the course you were playing has 9-holes, and the watch may have two course options that display after locating satellites to allow users to play 1-9 or 1-18 to complete a full round from 9 > back to hole 1...which will be displayed as hole 10 if playing a 18 holes, instead of 9.
Without the name of the course, I do not have any further info to gauge the course map options for the 9-hole course you mentioned in your comment...however, there are a few suggestions I can recommend as outlined below:
