What are the performance rankings

On the performance rankings it has my driver at 56% and my approach at 11% how do I interpret this

  • When viewing the Performance Stats section in the Garmin Golf app, the ranking section displays your % for each category (0% lowest to 100% best) with a tab above to toggle the % ranking compared to "All" to compare to all Garmin Golf users, or you can select "Handicap" to see your rank compared to Garmin Golf users with a similar handicap to yours.

More info can be referenced on the Garmin Support page for performance Stats linked here: Garmin Golf Performance Stats and Data Available

Description for the two performance stats you mentioned:

    • Drive: Shots from the tee on par 4 and par 5 holes, and where the shots landed in relation to the center of the fairway and the consistency off the tee. Depending on which tab you had toggled when viewing Drive showing 56% on your account, the % means that off the tee on par 4 or par 5 holes, your fairways hit is a little better than the average or half of either all/similar handicap of Garmin Golf users.
    • Approach: Shots where you attempted to hit the green from more than 50 yards out. The 11% you are seeing indicates your approach shots landing on the green are in the lower % of either all/similar handicap Garmin Golf users 89% of users are landing approach shots to the green at a higher %.

When viewing your Performance Stats, there are tools within the menu labeled "Help" in the upper right corner of the main stat page, or you can also tap the gray circle with the letter i icon ( i ) next to each section to see more info on the shot overview and the definitions for each metric.
