Real World Golfers use Mulligans - The App Should Allow

I really enjoy the freedom that the S70 and club sensors give me, in that I don't have to switch brain hemispheres between feeling my game and counting strokes.

I don't golf like an Ernie Ells or Fred Couples (sorry showing my age :D).  In my experience, the real-world average golfers (ie. those who purchase the S70 and sensors) use mulligans and breakfast balls.   Unfortunately, doing so messes with the automatic scorecard.

It would be great if the program let you tap to acknowledge those shots and track them.   It is an important part of my scorecard stats and one of the best indicators of my progress.

  • I recommend outlining the feature you would like through the Garmin Ideas submission form on the Garmin website through the link here: https://www.garmin.com/forms/ideas/

On the form, you can submit in detail how you would like the option to record mulligans implemented on the S70 during rounds of golf...and you outline how this option for tracking mulligans is helping with game improvement.

At this time, mulligan features are only offered with the Approach R10 launch monito when simulating golf rounds with Home Tee Hero in the Garmin Golf app. The option to take a mulligan is offered to re-take a shot during the virtual round, as the Approach R10 is a practice tool while simulating a golf round.
