The app is awful

The app for scoring and editing is awful. The scorecard is impossible to understand and get right. Not being able to go in after and adjust your score properly including putts especially is making everything I have bought from Garmin which  is s70 watch, ct10 sensors and z30 range finder for a total of $2400 a total waste of money. Plus the premium Apple subscription I will cancel as it not worth the money. We buy these things to give us better insight to our game but instead we only get frustrated with its inaccuracy and lack of quality of the app. Come on really this really should be easy to use and easy to understand. Really someone take a look at Arcoss see how much better and easier it is to use. Editing is awesome and easy. Even it records and shows you every shot with an individual iron and you can take out your bad ones ir the shots that you know are not a full swing to give you proper distance accuracy with that particular club. This what we want a proper app not some Mickey Mouse one. I expect Garmin to be much better and not serve up this rubbish

    I am sorry to see you have had this initial experience with your devices and using the Garmin Golf app.

    Garmin I have to say. Your hardware is fantastic but the software is below average. I sold my x5 shotscope with tracking tags to a guy who has a S70 watch and he told me he has also emailed Garmin about the software and how bad it is.  Definitely not user friendly and is lacking some important functionality to make it correct. You really need to listen to your customers and not just keep sending emails with links to how to use your app.  Your app works but it is rubbish simple fact. Like I say I was excited and was expecting this to be better than Arcoss and Shotscope but really it is way below them. I feel like I have spent top dollar on something that could be brilliant but instead I feel like I have wasted my money

    Based on this second comment, it is unclear what specifically you are referring to in terms of examples or other information related to the Garmin Golf app and software that has led to your opinion on our products.

    Agree - the watch is 10/10 for features, autoshot is a game changer.  But the app/stats are simply miles behind the competition.  Seriously!

    Exactly but Garmin don’t think so. We pay top dollar for the hardware  which is great to get software that is so sub standard and lacking in functionality it’s unbelievable, it’s like buying a Ferrari and trying to race it on retread tyres
