How to track golf and a walk at the same time on venu2 - Again

I have a Garmin venu2. I use it for walking and Golf. When I use the golf functionality it does not appear to record my steps during a round of golf.

I check this solution which was posted sometime back but did not seem to work.

Turning On Activity RecordingMost devices will have the following steps:

  1. Access the Menu on your watch.

  2. Select Settings  .

  3. Select Activities & Apps.

  4. Select Golf.

  5. Select Golf Settings.

  6. Toggle…

  • Enabling "record activity" for golf will allow a separate activity to be recorded on the watch to view in Connect vs only the scorecard transferring to the Garmin Golf app. This will not result in steps being referenceable within the activity though.

Steps are still being tracked during that timeframe while you were golfing. If you view your step graph for that day you can view the amount recorded from the time you started golfing through the time you finished to get an idea of how many steps were tracked during that timeframe.

During activities like golf specifically...distance travelled during the activity is not a clear reflection of steps due to a cart often being used throughout the round. For those golfers walking the course, you can view the step graph timeline for the timeframe of the activity to get an indication of the steps tracked while walking the course.
