Venu 3 doesn't find updated golf course

Hi,

the short course of my golf club has been updated from 3 holes to 4 holes. In both the Garmin golf and connect app I find the correct 4 hole course.

(Golfclub Donauwörth Gut Lederstatt)

My Venu 3 still shows the former, no longer existing 3 hole course.

How do I get my watch to find the current course?

  • Make sure the Venu 3 is showing connected in the Garmin Golf app within the Garmin Devices section of the main menu in the app. 

    That golf course has two versions as well for the 4-Loch and the regular course. Try uninstalling the course from the downloaded golf courses menu > Reinstall the two versions of the courses (as the 4-Loch course was recently updated in our system) then re-sync your watch > Once you arrive at the course, open the Garmin Connect mobile app > More Tab > Garmin Devices menu > Tap the sync button next to the name of your watch in the list > Then keep the Connect mobile app open in the background while you switch over to the Garmin Golf App > Check the Garmin Devices menu in the Garmin Golf app > Confirm your Venu 3 is showing connected > Start the round on the watch and it should then show the courses available to select on-screen.

  • Thanks for your answer. I followed your instructions on two seperate occasions now. Unfortunately it doesn't work.

    My Venu3 still only shows the 3-Loch (which does not exist anymore) but not the 4-Loch.

    On the phone everything works fine.
